When I was in about the 8th grade my sister and I had a beautiful miniature rabbit named Thumper. He was an indoor bunny, but we took him out one day to play in the grass. He must have eaten too much. When I brought him in and had him on my lap his stomach swelled beyond capacity. I’ll spare you the details, but he died while I was holding him. In shock and not knowing what else to do, I cried.
